Power of Attorney

Do you have a Power of Attorney that needs to be authenticated/apostilled in a foreign country?

These documents required to first be notarized and then receive the proper authentication or apostille.

If you are going to use your power of attorney in a Hague Convention country (hyperlink) then your document will require an apostille from the state in which the notary is licensed from. 

For example, if your document was notarized by a Florida notary, it would require an apostille from Florida.

For Non-Hague Convention countries, your document will also require a federal and embassy level authentication.
